The black and white plaid is very elegant for Thanksgiving and year-round. The red and black Buffalo plaid makes for a perfect Christmas tablecloth as well as a summer tablecloth for picnics, barbeques, parties and family gatherings. What is the difference between Gingham checkered and buffalo check tablecloths?
Simply the size of the square pattern. The squares on the buffalo plaid are much larger. Gingham checks are usually 1" squares. In addition, the second color on Gingham is white where in the buffalo plaid it is black.
Both are in the plaid family and both equally as popular.
