Basket weave table linens, i.e. tablecloths, overlays napkins, and table runners have a weaving pattern that resembles the interlocking of woven baskets. For this reason you may hear the term wicker tablecloth used when referring to this type of table cloth. The over-and-under technique achieves this unique pattern by having the threads cross each other in alternating directions, creating a textured and tactile finish. The resulting fabric has a raised, grid-like structure, which gives it a sophisticated and structured look that enhances the visual appeal of any dining space.

This texture which make the tablecloth a rich, heavy fabric (very similar is weight to our heaviest weight fabric, the Panama table linen) allows the cloth to drape very elegantly. . We offer both the standard merrow hem finish, sewn along the edge as well as the rolled hem upgrade option. The rolled hem finish is rolled over ⅛” and then finished. Please note that due to the shape, the rolled hem upgrade is not available for oval table linens.

Our basket weave fabric is machine washable, wash warm, tumble dry. Do not overheat. Only use bleach on white table linens.
