The Sun Guard for Fabrics is Here
After a large research and testing we have partnered with SunGuard® for offering sunlight protection for fabrics. This fabric UV protectant spray will extend the life of outdoor and indoor fabrics. It contains strong UV inhibitors to reduce color fading from the sun.
After 24 hours of application it is safe for human proximity to face, nose and eyes. So this is not only a great UV fabric protector, but also the best choice for outdoor tablecloths, cushions and pillows.
No such thing as a weather resistant fabric exists. But regular treatment with this product will make your linens last longer. This uv protection also adds waterproofing and stain resistance as valuable features.
How Does Fabric UV Protection Works
SunGuard® Fabric UV Protectant creates a clear coating on the fabric surface that reflect uv rays. This provides waterproofing protection and stain resistance for both indoor and outdoor fabrics.
But the protection will not only stay on the surface. When sprayed the fabric UV protectant also penetrates the fabric and protects against moisture and repel stain damage.
UV Protection Maintenance
For outdoor fabrics we recommend re-treatments every 3 months. Also re-apply the protection if you wash the cloth or if it was under heavy rain.
A full can of SunGuard® Fabric UV Protectant will cover up to 60 sqft of fabric. Actual performance will depend on the condition and porosity of the fabric surface.
Important Warnings
Allow 24 hours before exposing to moisture or proximity to the face.
Do not use on suede, delicate leathers, carpeting or surfaces subject to foot traffic.
