   Burlap, also known as hessian or jute, is a coarse, woven fabric made from natural jute plant fibers. It has a rough, rustic texture and features a natural tan or brown color. It may have slight imperfections, but in this fabric, it is not considered a defect, but part of its natural charm. Burlap is durable, biodegradable, and eco-friendly, and was historically used for transporting goods. It is now popular for crafts, home decor, and rustic event decorations. 2. Can you use burlap as a tablecloth?
   Yes, burlap can be used as a tablecloth and is a popular choice for events with rustic or natural-themed decor. Do keep in mind jute burlap can only be spot cleaned, it can not be machine washed. Faux burlap offers a similar rustic appeal, but often looks more polished, is easier to maintain, is machine washable, and very wrinkle resistant.
   
   
3. How do you get wrinkles out of burlap linens?
   To remove wrinkles from burlap linens, lightly dampen the fabric and lay it flat. Place a pressing cloth over the burlap and iron on low heat, applying even pressure.
