Printing methods for customized round tablecloth

A custom printed round tablecloth can help promote your brand at a tradeshow booth, sampling table, or sponsored event. It is a great way to increase brand visibility and attract attention to your booth.

Using a custom tablecloth can make your display stand out and leave a lasting impression on potential customers. It is a cost-effective marketing tool that can help you reach a wider audience.

There are few promotional print companies offering round tablecloths with logo and therefore prices have been expensive. Premier Table Linens now offers top quality custom round tablecloths at very reasonable prices.

You will need to know what size table will be used and how much of the table you want covered. Typically, the table cover should cover the entire table to just above the ground.

An exception to this rule is for dining. Perhaps your company is sponsoring a lunch or dinner. The table covers can drape the tables only 12” to 15” or if a formal event, completely cover the tables.

Types of Printing Available

Once the size is determined, the next consideration is which type of printing will be required and where will the logo be placed. These decisions and if the logo has only one, two or more colors are going to be the main criteria of what printing method is going to be the most suitable for each case.

Heat Transfer Vinyl

Heat transfer vinyl (HTV) is a good technique if your design and logo have only one or two colors. This is a cost-effective method that when properly applied and cared for, creates a durable bond with the fabric. It can be applied to various fabric types, including cotton, polyester, and blends. This versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of tablecloth materials, ensuring compatibility with different preferences and requirements.

HTV does a great job when in need of an inexpensive solution for a one-color or two-colors design on any fabric.

Dye Sublimation

Dye sublimation printing involves transferring dye onto the fabric using heat and pressure. The design is first printed onto a special transfer paper using dye-sublimation inks. Then, the paper is placed onto the fabric, and heat and pressure are applied, causing the ink to sublimate into the fabric fibers. Dye sublimation printing produces vibrant, long-lasting colors and is ideal for polyester and spandex fabrics.

The great advantage here is that it is extremely durable and you can print all over the tablecloth. Also, if there is the need for the design to be flexible or elastic, this is the go-to method.

Unlike the heat transfer (HTV) method where a stock fabric color needs to be selected, with dye sublimation printing, we start with white and the entire table cover can be printed to any Pantone color.
